Leucogard®
In Chicken Leucogard® P regulates and activates all three
components of the immune defense system.
Leucogard® P was developed for specific application in poultry
feeding.
The activating effect of Leucogard® on the immune system is
potentiated by prebiotic substances, which support the physiological
intestinal flora and prevent invasion of infectious microbes.
Superiority of broiler chicken feeding with Leucogard® P
supplementation in comparison with treatment by Enrofloxacin:
Leucogard® P exceeds the favourable effects of the antibiotic Baytril®
(active component: Enrofloxacin)
Improved status of the immune system, shown by analysing white cells
and serum proteins in blood
Increase in vitality
Strong reduction of mortality
Stabilization of the percentage of lymphocytes
An almost doubling of the percentage of monocytes
Increased concentration of gamma globulins in blood plasma
Increase of beta globulins
Effect of feeding 320.000 laying farm hens with Leucogard® P:
Reduction of mortality by 45%
Increase of egg production by 4.3%
In Carp:
Reduction of mortality
Improved Feed Conversion Ratio
Activation of the non-specific immune system
Faster recovery after infections
In Swine Leucogard® regulates and activates all three
components of the immune system.
It supports the maintenance of a healthy intestinal flora, and
suppresses the proliferation of pathological E. coli and diarrhoea.
It promotes the settlement of immunocompetent cells in piglet’s lungs
and powers destruction of permanently inhaled pathogens and pollutants
and enhances the formation and stabilization of a well-balanced immune
system against the outbreak of infectious diseases in herds.
Leucogard® is of benefit to the piglets at weaning by reducing
sensitive reactions to strain and stress that result from change of
diet and hierarchy fights during the reorientation of the herd.
Effects of feeding lactating sows with Leucogard®:
Piglets
Reduction of mortality by about 50%
Increase of litter weight at weaning by 21.7%
Sows
Gilts have already breeding performance as sows with
several pregnancies
Piglets and Sows
Improved resistance against E. coli and MMA-Syndrom and:
Lower mortality rate
Increase in vitality
No cough
No diarrhoea
Better milk ingestion and utilization
Improved daily weight-gain
Strong reduction in therapeutic application of drugs
